RF Detector, this device is the link between the DR-1X and the MABEL Board. The RF Detector signals the MABEL board when there is a signal present on the Transmit port of the DR-1X to prevent a lock up situation. The use of this method is used so there is no need to open up and hack into a wire inside the DR-1X to get to the desired signal.
The RF Detector comes as an assembled unit, or as a kit with you supplying the case, input and output connectors, and all machining of the parts to make it RF tight. These board measure .9″ x 1″ allowing them to be installed into the extruded aluminum cases you can commonly find on eBay on other websites.
The RF Detector is connected to the sampling port on the appropriate Directional RF Coupler for you particular application of Frequency and power output from the repeater. These Directional Couplers can be purchased on eBay and other sites online.

RF Detector Assembled
The RF Detector assembly is a fully functional and ready to install RF detector for the MABEL system. This device attaches to the sample port of the appropriate RF coupler for your application, power and frequency (purchased separately on eBay). These detector assemblies are enclosed in an extruded aluminum case to help prevent RF leakage. The signal wire is attached to this assembly via an RCA connector. It is recommended to use a shielded cable back to the main MABEL board terminal. The RF terminal is a male “N” type connector as most RF Couplers are “N” type.
